training by merge mode or traditional mode respectively
and comparative analysis of graduate students' clinical knowledge
skills
as well as their core competencies. Results The score of clinical examination in postgraduates trained by merge mode was significantly higher than that of tradition mode
and shown statistical significance [(92.6±2.52) vs. (83.8±3.14)
t=10.93
P<0.01]; There was no significant difference in professionalism quality and doctor-patient communication between both modes; postgraduates' clinical knowledge
clinical thought and skills
as well as psychological quality cultivated by merge mode were significantly superior to tradition model with statistical significance (χ2 = 27.00
10.23
12.21
P <0.01); however
postgraduates' clinical research slightly improved in tradition mode compared with merge mode
seems no significant difference (χ2=1.39
P=0.24).Conclusions The combination model of the clinical specialty postgraduates and standardized residency training is better than the traditional training mode
which is more beneficial for clinical specialty postgraduates in training of overall capabilities
which worth further popularisation.
