Operative teaching is one of the most important surgical curricula in medical college. The unique advantages of E-learning in operative teaching were discussed. The construction plan of a teaching resource library based on hospital network was introduced， as well as the methods of its ap-plication and evaluation in digital teaching of operative surgery in department of general surgery in order to improve the teaching effect of operative surgery.
