Objective To verify the relationship between ultrasound
microsurgical anatomy and histological stratification of the gastric wall by experiments on isolated pig stomach specimens. Methods (1)The layers of gastric wall were observed under high-frequency ultrasound
surgical microscope and histological section
and the hair was inserted into the gastric wall in different layers to verify the corresponding relationship of the gastric wall with ultrasound image. (2) After cleaning the pig stomach surface mucosa
the first layer of strong echo was observed under ultrasound.(3)Using high resolution small animal ultrasonic imaging system(Ultrasound biology microscope)
and observe the third layer strong echo of pig stomach wall ultrasound with 40MHZ ultra-high frequency probe. Results (1)The histological structure of pig stomach wall is the same as that of the human stomach. (2) Ultrasonography revealed five layers (strong-low-strong-low-strong echo) of the gastric wall: the first layer was mucus
the surface epithelium
and the reflecting layer of the anterior and posterior interface;the second layer was the lamina propria
;the third strong echo layer is muscularis mucosae
submucosa and its anterior-posterior interface;the fourth low echo layer is muscularis;the fifth is serosa and its anterior-posterior interface. (3)20~40MHZ ultrasound probe to observe the pig stomach wall
the third layer of strong echo can obviously detect a low echo
confirmed as mucosal muscular layer
forming a strong echo and low echo seven layers of echo. Conclusion High-frequency ultrasound can display the tissue layers of gastric wall and provide anatomic basis for the diagnosis of gastric wall lesions.
