ancmeticoduedenectomy was performed on 69 patients from July 1961 to July 1994.The total mortality was11.59%。The incidence of pancreatic fistula was 13.04% with 4 deaths

constituting 50% of the total moralitieswith the improvement of surgical skills and the intensification of perioperative cares. The incidence of pacreati fistulahas been decreased from 23.5% to 2.86% with no death since 1985.The method of prevention of prevention of pancreatic fistula after Pancimticoduodenectomy was discussed.
