he bacterial and HBsAg contamination in 332 samples collected from ten kindsofdisinfectants had been investigated by the methods of bacterial culture and ELISA or SPRIAsccording to Disinfectant Technique Standard(1992).It was indi cated that total rate of bacterialcontamination beyond pemissible limit was 11.7%(total bacterial count excewting 250 CFU per mlwas considered as beyond permissble lunit)and positive rate ofr HB sAg was 5.83%。These results showed that the serious contamination of bacteriuin was found in 0.1%washingdisinfectant pawder

which w as 50%beyond pernilssible limit.The following were 75% ethylalcohol

2.5% tinctura iodi

1%povidine-iodine and dismfectant solution of instruments(including0.1%bromogeramine)

their rates of contamination beyond permissible limit were11.7%

10.8%

8.3%and4.7%respectively。The HBsAg positive rate of 75%ethyl alcohol(13.9%)was higher than the disinfectant solution of instruments(8.1%).The others

such as“YI XIAOJIN”

2% glutaraldegyde。"Swashes" and "Gold star" were not contaminated by bacterium andHBsAg。Above results suggest that it is important to manage and choose hospital disinfectants foraontrolling nosocomical infection.
