epirubicin and its four metabolites were separated by reverse phase high-performa-nce liquid chromatography on a Zorbax C-8 column and detected by fluoresence. A sensitive andspecific method for determination of epirubicin in blood has been developed. Adriamycin was usedas an internal standard.The detection limit of the method(difined as a singal to noise ratio of 2:1)forepirubicin was 2ng/ml.Standard curves for epirubicin were linear from 10 tO 300ng/ml withγ=0.998.The method has been applied in analysis of the blood level.The recoveries were 80%。
