STUDY ON COAGULATION AND FIBRINOLYSIS IN PATIENTS WITH CORONARY HEART DISEASEBY MODIFIED FIBRINOLYSODYNAM ICOGRAPHY
modilfied fibrinolysodynamicogram has been developed
from which ten paramcters can be determined:CST(Coagulation starting time)MCE(maximum extent Of coagulation)
MCT(the time of maximum coagulation)
and FCE(the coaprulation extent at the first minute)
FFE(the fibrinolytic extent at the first minute)
AFE(mean fibrinolyticextent)
WFT(the whole time from begining to end of fibrinolytic reaction)
SBE(the ratio of FCE/ FFE)
BLT(thetime from the top point of optical density cure to a point where optical density decieased by 5 %)
and CEF(thecalculated content of fibrinogen). The above parameters weremessured in 70 patients with coronary heart disease(CHD )
of whom 7 patients hadacute myocardial infarction(MI)
and in a control group of 40 healthy pelsons.CST in the patient group was signifi-cantly shorter than that in the control group. The fact that MCE
FC
AFE and CEF were higher than those in thecontrul group was of statistical significance. The values of FFE
WFT
and others shwed no apparent differences in thetwo grorups. These results suggested that in patients with CHD there is an increased clottability and relatively insuf-ficient fobrinolytic activity. No differences with stalistical significance were found between the patients with MI andwithout MI.
