Standard grey level samples were analyaed with computer-aided image method (CAIM)

the linearity and correlation between grey level (GL) and optic density (OD) were calculated. And relative quantitative study with standard human serum albumin (HSA) series was carried out. The results revealed that there were good correlations between OD and GL

respectively. There were also good correlations between the theoretical value of relative content of HSA and the detective value measured by CAIM. Eesults of serum protein electrophoreaia in 100 healthy volunteers were analysed with CAIM . lt was proved that CAIM was simple and very rapid
