In order to detect the significance of ultrastructural pathological diagnosis and its histogensis in multipotential differentiation carcinom (MPDC)
12 cases of human MPDC tissue were studied by electron microscopy. The results showed that the MPDC was differentiating into gland
squamous epithelium or/and neuroendocrine types. The results suggest that the MPDC are the tumors with hetogentity
most probably arising form primitive germinal cells which have the potential for dual or triparitite differentiation. The primary results indicated the significance of electron microscopic study in diagnosis of MPDS.
