his paper frist analysed the phase spectra of diastolic brachial arterial pressure of normal subjects and aortic insufficiency patients using two elastic reservoir model of the circulatory system

and compared the phase spectra with the actually measured patient arterial pressure data of diastolic brachial artery pressure curve.The results showed that it is easier to distinguish the difference of diastolic brachial artery pressure from the phase spectra than the pressure curve between normal subjects and aortic nsufficiency patients

which may be useful in the clinical application of the two elastic reservoir model in studying diastolic brachial artery pressure of patients with cardiovascular disseases.
