44 patients(57 limbs)with varicosity in lower extremities were tested and the results were compared with those of venography and ultrasonic Doppler testing. The results indicated that PPG can differentiate primary and secondary varicose ( P <0 002). The diagnostic accuracy for detecting the deep vein 3-4 stage reflux was 86 7%. PCR ratio and graph conformity rate were 90 9% and 86 4% in testing venous patency respectively. The results showed that PPG combined with PCR testing was a simple
fast noninvasive testing method
Moreover
the exam method and noticeable points were discussed.
