Distribution and sensitivity study for 93 strains bacteria isolated from prostatic fluid
A retrospected study was applied to investigate the distribution and sensitivity of the pathogenic bacteria isolated from prostatic fluid from 1996-1998 in our hospital. Of the 93 isolated strains
the positive rates of staphylococci
streptococci and G- bacillus were 69.9%
11.8% and 18.3% respectively. Sensitivity study suggested that G+ coccus were resistant to Penicillin
Tetracyclin
Erythromycin and were sensitive to Teicoplanin
Nitrofurantoine. None of strains resistant to Vancomycin was detected G bacillus. were resistant to pefloxacine ciprofloxacine and were sensitive to Piper - Tazo
lmipeneme and Amikacine. Our study was valuble to bacteria distribution and empirical therapy for the prostatitis caused by bacterial infection
