Evaluating effect of intravenous nicardipine in severe hypertension
Objective: To observe and evaluate effect of reducing blood pressure(BP) and side reaction with intravenous nicardipine in 20 severe hypertensives. MethodsⅠ: Twenty patients were divided into two groups. In group
2mg nicardipine was injected intravenously first
then infused continuously in the dosage of 0.5~2.0μg/kg·Ⅱmin. Ingroup
nicardipine was directly infused intravenously in the dosage of 0.5~2.0μg/kg·min continuously. Results: Intravenous nicardipine could reduce BP speedily
efficiently and smoothly in two groups
the efficient rate was 100%
and there was slight side reactions
as flush and palpitation
which could be endured. Conclusion: Administering intravenous nicardipine to treat severe hypertension is a speedy and efficient method with slight side reactions.
