The value of shear wave modulus of elasticity and MR in the diagnosis of Sjogren’s syndrome salivary gland lesions
Objective: To explore the diagnostic value of shear wave elastic modulus and MR for salivary gland lesions in Sjogren"s syndrome. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 63 healthy medical examiners (control group) and 110 patients with Sjogren’s syndrome salivary gland lesions (observation group) were collected from March 2019 to October 2020. The severity of the disease in the observation group was divided into Two groups
mild group (n=69)
severe group (n=41)
compare the three groups of bilateral submandibular and parotid Young"s modulus mean
T1WI
T2WI
parotid duct dilatation grade
fat signal grade
and ROC Curve analysis of the above-mentioned indicators single-use and eight-item joint forecast value. Results: The average Young"s modulus of the bilateral submandibular glands
the average Young"s modulus of the parotid gland
T1WI
T2WI
fat signal classification
and parotid duct dilatation classification were higher in the severe group and mild group than the control group (P<0.05)
analyzed by Spearman method The prevalence and severity of the disease are positively correlated with the parotid duct dilatation grade
fat signal grade
T1WI
T2WI
and bilateral Young"s modulus mean; through ROC curve analysis
the eight items jointly predict the AUC of Sjogren’s syndrome salivary gland lesions It is 0.973
the early prediction accuracy is high. Conclusion: Both MR and shear wave elastic modulus have certain diagnostic value for Sjogren’s syndrome salivary gland lesions
but the combination of the two predicts better and reduces the misdiagnosis rate.
