Research Progress of Ultrasound Targeted Microbubble Destruction Technology Mediated Suicide Genes in Malignant Tumors
Malignant neoplasm is an important cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide
which poses a serious threat to human health. As its conventional treatment methods
chemotherapy
radiotherapy and surgery still have limitations. Suicide gene therapy offers a highly promising treatment for various forms of malignancy. The ultrasound targeted microbubble destruction technology (UTMD) provides a new way for suicide gene delivery. This article focuses on summarizing the latest progress of UTMD-mediated suicide gene transfection in the treatment of malignant tumors and presenting prospects for its future development.
