Objective To evaluate diagnostic value of hip joint involvement in ankylosing spondylitis by ultrasound score. Methods 86 cases of ankylosing spondylitis patients with hip joint involvement were scored according to the different ultrasound findings of the hip joint capsule and enthesopathy of greater trochanter tendon. The correlation among ultrasound of hip joint and clinical and laboratory indexes were analyzed，and evaluate the feasibility of ultrasound scores in diagnosing hip pain with patients. and can be used to patients with hip joint involvement to a certain extent. The intra-synovial blood flow is the most indicative of disease activity in the ultrasound scores.
