the feasibility and safety of laparoscopic left lateral hepatectomy with Ttubefree and laparoscopic left extrahepatic lobectomy for the treatment of hepatolithiasis. Methods A total of 68 patients who were treated in our hospital from January 2017 to August 2018 were randomly divided into observation group and control group
with 34 cases in each group. The observation group were treated by laparoscopic left extrahepatic lobectomy with choledochoscope palced through the left hepatic duct to explore and remove the stones in the intrahepatic bile duct and common bile duct
and the left hepatic duct stump was sutured without T tube. The control group were treated by laparoscopic left extrahepatic lobectomy with choledochotomy performed to explore the stones and T tube drainage. The operation time
intraoperative blood loss
postoperative extubation time
postoperative hospital stay
postoperative residual stone rate and postoperative complications were analyzed and compared between the two groups. Results The operation time in the observation group were less than that in the control group
the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the amount of blood loss
postoperative tubal extubation time
postoperative hospital stay
postoperative residual stone rate and postoperative complications between two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion Laparoscopic left extrahepatic lobectomy with Ttubefree for the treatment of hepatolithiasis mainly caused by left extrahepatic calculi is safe
