OBJECTIVE: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of fast channel of cardiac anesthesia for cardiac surgery. METHODS: 134 cases of cardiac surgery were randomly divided into control group (66 cases) and observation group (68 cases). Control group received routine anesthesia, and observation group received fast channel of cardiac anesthesia. The length of hospital stay in ICU, tracheal extubation time, postoperative waking hours, drug dosage, anesthetic effect, therapeutic efficacy, blood dynamics and postoperative infection were compared between 2 groups. RESULTS: The length of hospital stay in ICU, postoperative waking hours and tracheal extubation time of observation group were (5.03±1.95)d, (35.31±11.30)min and (232.69±15.57)min, which were significantly shorter than those of control group [(10.03±2.35)d, (110.32±39.25)min and (345.56±43.28)min], with statistical significance (P<0.05). The dose of sufentanil and vecuronium bromide in observation group were (653±148)μg and (0.30±0.02) mg/kg, which were significantly lower than in control group [(932±53)μg, (0.50±0.40)mg/kg], with statistical significance (P<0.05). There was statistical significance in anesthetic effect between 2 groups ,observation group was better than control group (P<0.05), and OAA/S of observation group were significantly better than that of control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). The cure rate of observation group (88.2%) was significantly better than that of control group (69.7%), and the rate of pulmonary infection (0) and bronchospasm rate (0) were significantly lower than those of control group (6.1%, 10.6%), with statistical significance (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in blood dynamics between 2 groups (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS: The effect of the fast channel of cardiac anesthesia is good and safety for cardiac surgery.
