OBJECTIVE： To provide empirical basis for promoting the development of clinical pharmaceutical care. METHORDS： Questionnaires were designed， convenience sampling method was conducted to investigate the physicians in 5 third grade class A comprehensive hospitals in Beijing， exploratory factor analysis， single factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the evaluation of physicians for clinical pharmaceutical care and its influential factors. RESULTS： Totally 300 questionnaires were sent out， 284 were effectively received with effective recovery of 94.7％. The needs of surveyed physicians for clinical pharmaceutical care mainly focused on the regularly providing the latest drug information， providing advice and guidance to patients and notification about adverse reactions. The surveyed physicians’ adoption for the medication recommended by the clinical pharmacists was general （3.45±0.646）， who thought clinical pharmacists still needed to improve the professional quality and comprehensive ability to better qualified for clinical pharmaceutical care （3.13±0.946）， overall evaluation of clinical pharmaceutical care was general （3.44±0.725）； professional title was the influential factor of clinical pharmaceutical care evaluation （P＜0.05）. Physicians believed that improving the external environment， the professional quality of pharmacists and strengthening the clinical quality of pharmacists were beneficial to the development of clinical pharmaceutical care. CONCLUSIONS： Physicians support clinical pharmaceutical care， but the evaluation is not high. Strengthening efforts to supporting clinical pharmacy and clinical pharmacists’ training from the national， social and hospital levels， promoting self-change concept， positioning， enhancing the professional quality and comprehensive ability contribute to improving the quality of clinical pharmaceutical care.
