OBJECTIVE: To explore the effects of Baofukang suppository combined with Chitosan antibacterial film on the efficacy and related indicators in patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) after cervical conization. METHODS: 200 CIN patients undertaking cervical conization were randomly divided into control group (100 cases) and observation group (100 cases). All patients took cervical conization after 2-7 d of menstruation; control group was given Chitosan antibacterial film 1 tablet, pushing into the vagina and depositing in the wound by aseptic lever, then stuffing by yarn blocks, replaced once every 2 d; observation group was additionally given Baofukang suppository 1 granule, placing in the vagina, once a day. They were treated for 2 weeks. Clinical efficacy, wound healing time, vaginal discharge time, inflammatory cytokine levels [interleukin (IL)-4, IL-10, tumor necrosis factor (TNF) -α] before and after treatment were observed, and the postoperative complications and incidence of adverse reactions were recorded. RESULTS: The total effective rate in observation group was significantly higher than control group, wound healing time and vaginal discharge time were significantly shorter than control group, the incidence of postoperative complications was significantly lower than control group, with statistical significances (P<0.05). After treatment, the inflammatory cytokine levels in 2 groups were significantly lower than before, and observation group was lower than control group, with statistical significances (P<0.05). And there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between 2 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS: After cervical conization, Baofukang suppository combined with Chitosan antibacterial film shows obvious efficacy in the treatment of CIN, it can effectively improve postoperative wound healing effect, reduce the levels of inflammatory reactions and the incidence of postoperative complications, and does not increase the incidence of adverse reactions.
