Objective To explore the effect of family-nurse cooperative induction care in children with respiratory system diseases

so as to provide a reference for clinical treatment. Methods A total of 102 children with respiratory system diseases admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanyang Medical College from Feb. 2021 to Feb. 2022 were selected as the study subjects. The children were assigned to the control group and experimental group by random number table

with 51 cases in each group. Children in the control group were given routine care and children in the experimental group family-nurse cooperative induction care. The treatment compliance

and family satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The treatment compliance of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group（P<0.05）. The time to disappearance of cough

and time to disappearance of wheezing in the experimental group were significantly shorter than those in the control group（P<0.05）. Before the intervention

there was no significant difference in role burden and personal burden scores in the Zarit Burden Interview（ZBI） Scale between the two groups（P>0.05）. At discharge

the role burden and personal burden scores in the ZBI Scale for the families of the children in the 2 groups were significantly lower than those before the intervention

with the experimental group significantly lower than the control group（P<0.05）. The total satisfaction rate of family members in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group（P<0.05）. Conclusion The effect of family-nurse cooperative induction care in children with respiratory system diseases is marked

which improves the treatment compliance and therapeutic effect

reduces the burden of family care

and increases the satisfaction of children’s family members with care. These benefits hold promise for a wider application of this technique.
