electronic products are increasingly widely used by children. In early childhood

premature exposure to or excessive use of electronic products has adverse effects on children’s neurocognitive system and social development. Recent studies have shown that children start to reach the screen at an increasingly younger age

even before the age of 1 year old

and the use of electronic products by child caregivers in families has a greater impact on children. Relevant studies have also found that excessive use of screens is not only associated with low developmental quotient in children but also affects the development of children’s language expression and social skills

as well as causing problems such as negative emotions or bad behaviors. This article reviews the early use of electronic product screens in children aged 0～6 years and their effects on early childhood behavior and psychological and social development.
