Ef fects of multi-post collaboration-based intensive blood glucose management in the postoperative glucose management of diabetic patients underwent CABG
Objective To analyze the use of multi-post collaboration-based intensive blood glucose management in diabetic patients underwent coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG). Methods A total of 98 diabetic patients admitted to a hospital for CABG in Henan Province from February 2019 to February 2020 were selected as subjects
who were assigned to a control group and an experimental group using the random number method
with 49 cases in each group. The patients in the control group received routine blood glucose management
and the patients in the experimental group multi-post collaboration-based intensive blood glucose management in addition to the routine management. The fasting blood glucose(FPG)
postprandial blood glucose(PBG) and hemoglobin A1c(Hb Alc) levels were compared before and after(at discharge) intervention between the two groups. The incidence of complications
ventilator use time
wound healing time
and length of hospital stay were compared between the two groups. Results Before the intervention
there was no statistically significant difference in FBG
PBG
and Hb A1c levels between the 2 groups(P>0.05). After the intervention
the levels of FBG
PBG and Hb A1c were lower in both groups than before the intervention
and the experimental group were lower than those in the control group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group was 6.12%
which was lower than that in the control group(32.64%)
and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The ventilator use time
days for wound healing
and length of hospital stay of patients in the experimental group were shorter than those in the control group
and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The multi-post collaboration-based intensive management of blood glucose can reduce FBG
PBG
Hb A1c levels in diabetic patients underwent CABG
decrease the incidence of complications
reduce ventilator use time
days for wound healing
and length of hospital stay
with makred clinical effects. These advantages justify a wider application of this technique clinically.
