Application of foresighted nursing interventions in patients with acute heart failure
Objective To explore the effect of foresighted nursing interventions in patients with acute heart failure. Methods One hundred and twenty-two patients with acute heart failure admitted to a hospital in Henan province from April 2018 to May 2020 were selected and divided into observation group and control group using the random number table method
with 61 cases in each group. The patients in the control group received conventional care and the patients in the observation group were given foresighted care. The intervention effects
complications
self-assessing anxiety scale(SAS) and self-assessing depression scale(SDS) scores and nursing satisfaction of the patients in the two groups were compared before and after the intervention. Results The total effective rate of intervention for patients in the observation group was 95.08%
which was higher than that of the control group(75.41%)
with statistically significant differences(χ~2=9.385
P=0.002).The complication rate of patients in the observation group was 3.28%
which was lower than that of 18.03% in the control group
and the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=6.974
P=0.008).The SAS and SDS scores of patients in both groups were lower than those before the intervention and lower in the observation group than in the control group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Patients’ care satisfaction in the observation group was 98.36%
which was higher than that of 86.89% in the control group
and the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=4.319
P=0.038).Conclusion Foresighted nursing interventions used in patients with acute heart failure can help improve patients’ negative emotions and reduce the occurrence of complications.
