Wanfang and VIP database were retrieved to collect the randomized controlled trial of montelukast sodium combined with fluticasone in the treatment of asthma in children
the observation group was treated with inhalation of montelukast sodium combined with fluticasone
and the control group received fluticasone alone. The clinical literature that met the inclusion criteria were extracted. RevMan5.3 software was used for quality evaluation and Meta-analysis of the included literature. Results: A total of 13 Chinese literature were collected
including 1
440 children. Meta-analysis showed that the total effective rate and lung function indexes of the observation group in the first second of forced expiratory volume (FEV1) and forced vital capacity (FVC) were higher than those of the control group (P<0.01); the recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion: Montelukast sodium combined with fluticasone inhalation is effective in the treatment of asthma
