Value of chronic disease management in stable stage of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease Patients and acute exacerbation risk:A clinical study
Objective:To investigate the chronic disease management mode for stable stage of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)
and to analyze the effect of family doctor contract service on the management value of this mode and acute exacerbation risk. Methods:A total of 46 patients with COPD who were admitted to our hospital from September 2019 to March 2020 were randomly divided into intervention group and control group
name
age
sex
smoking
and occupation were recorded for each patient
and St.George’s Respiratory Questionnaire(SGRQ) score
modified Medical Research Council(mMRC) score
forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV1)
forced vital capacity(FVC)
and FEV1/FVC ratio were determined for each patient. Both groups were given cough-relieving
phlegm-expelling
and spasmolytic drugs
and the patients in the intervention group were given intervention measures.Network informatization was used to establish the family archives for COPD patients
and regular follow-up was performed to monitor patients’ health data archives. After 6 months of the experiment
SGRQ score
mMRC score
FEV1
FVC
and FEV1/FVC ratio were recorded for each patient again. Results:There were no significant differences in age
sex
and smoking between the control group and the intervention group(P> 0.05).There were no significant differences in SGRQ and mMRC scores between the control group and the intervention group before and after treatment(P> 0.05).During management treatment
the intervention group had a significantly lower incidence rate of acute exacerbation risk than the control group(P <0.05).There were no significant differences in FEV1
FVC
and FEV1/FVC ratio between the control group and the intervention group before and after treatment(P> 0.05).Conclusion:For patients with stable stage of COPD
family doctor contract service can provide standardized guidance for self-management and pulmonary rehabilitation
give suggestions on self-management
encourage them to respond quickly to the symptoms of disease deterioration
and reduce adverse events and the risk of poor prognosis.
