Correlation between mental resilience and quality of work life in nurses
Objective:To investigate the correlation between mental resilience and quality of work life in nurses
and to provide a reference for nursing management. Methods:The convenience sampling method was used to survey 321 nurses in Sichuan Province
China
using the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale and Quality of Work Life Scale. Results:The total scores of nurses
mental resilience and quality of work life were 83.03 ± 17.95 and 105.64± 19.85
respectively. The correlation analysis showed that mental resilience was positively correlated with quality of work life in these nurses(r = 0.590
P < 0.01). The regression analysis showed that nurses’ job title and mental resilience(self-reliance) could positively predict their quality of work life
while the marital status could negatively predict their quality of work life. Conclusion:We should continue to maintain a relatively high level of mental resilience for nurses
pay more attention to their physical and mental conditions
life
and stress
and improve their quality of work life and the level of nursing service.
