Research advances in prevention of readhesionafter transcervical resection ofadhesions
The incidence of intrauterine adhesions(IUA) is increasing year by year
which seriously affects wom-en’s lives and reproductive health. Transcervical resection of adhesions is currently an effective method to deal withIUA. However
there is a high recurrence rate of IUA after transcervical resection of adhesions
especially in pa-tientswith severe IUA
for whom some postoperativemeasures
such as using intrauterine barriers
promoting endome-trial growth and repair with estrogen or other drugs
preventing infections
and second-look hysteroscopy
are oftentaken as an auxiliary method to prevent recurrence. Stem cell therapybrings new hope to patients with severe IUA.Researchers continually explore new methods for the treatment of IUA
but so far there is no uniformtreatment stan-dard. This article brieflyreviews the common methods and research progress in preventing postoperativereadhesionaf-ter transcervical resectionof IUA
and provides a reference for clinical decision-making.
