Kawasaki disease is a childhood acquired heart disease characterized by vasculitis syndrome

which often involves coronary artery disease. Although the etiology and the whole pathogenesis are not clear

there is evidence that the pathogenesis of KD is closely related to the imbalance of immune response to various viruses or microorganisms. In particular

it has a strong correlation with virus infection. According to the clinical and experimental evidence

this paper reviews the research progress of virus related to KD.
