Observation on the application effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine nursing in patients with herpes zoster
Objective To explore the application effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine nursing in patients with herpes zoster. Methods One hundred and thirty cases of herpes zoster diagnosed and treated in a hospital in Shenyang from April 2016 to July 2019 were selected as the research object. Random number table method was used to divide patients into control group and observation group
65 cases in each group. Give patients in the control group routine care. Patients in the observation group were given traditional Chinese medicine nursing treatment based on the control group. At 4 weeks of nursing
the nursing effects of the two groups of patients were compared. The time of scab lesion
herpes subsided
and pain relief time were compared between the two groups. The visual analogue scale(VAS)
Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA) and Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI) scores were compared between the two groups before and after 4 weeks of care. Results The total effective rate of nursing in the observation group was 92.3% higher than that in the control group
73.8%. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The observation group had scab lesions
herpes remission and pain relief time of(6.51±1.87)d
(3.95±1.24)d and(3.46±1.16)d
which was shorter than that of the control group(9.86±2.18)d
(5.52±1.21)d and(4.71±1.31)d. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). After nursing
the VAS
HAMA and PSQI scores of observation group were(2.21±1.13)
(6.16±1.81) and(8.22±1.73) respectively. The scores of(3.85±1.46)
(9.41±2.03) and(11.68±2.07) were lower than those of the control group. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Routine nursing combined with traditional Chinese medicine nursing intervention for patients with herpes zoster can improve the nursing effect
reduce the patient’s pain
improve the patient’s psychological state and sleep quality
and the clinical effect is remarkable
which is worthy of popularization and application.
