In the face of the increasingly aging population and the heavy pressures on elderly service

combination of medical and nursing care has become an inevitable trend of social development in China.Along with the introduction of related national policies

governments at all levels are making great efforts to support the development of medical-nursing care combination

with the involvement of many enterprises.Based on the " healthprosperity" theory

we put forward some new considerations about combining medical and nursing care in the new era

i.e.this is not only a simple combination of medical and nursing care

but also a deep integration of community attributes and humanistic attributes.A community-based combination is essential

which regards elderly nursing care as the core and aims to improve community medical care service.There are several limitations at the levels of cognition

practical operation

and supporting systems

and thus it is important to create a new mode of medical-nursing care combination which deeply integrates medicine

elderly nursing

community and humanity

with a focus on the sense of community belonging and humanistic care

so as to further promote the development of medical-nursing care combination cause.
