Efficacy of enalapril and candesartan in treating old myocardial infarction
Objective To explore the efficacy of enalapril and candesartan in treating old myocardial infarction(OMI).Methods From January 2015 to February 2016 atotal of 74 patients with OMI were selected and divided into control group(n=37)and observation group(n=37)by random number table. In addition to the primary medicine
enalapril was used for the control group
while enalapril and candesartan were used for the observation group besides the primary medicine. The clinic efficacy
adverse effects and changes of cardiac function and high-sensitivity c-reactive(hs-CRP)of 2groups were observed. Results After the treatment the total effective rate of control group was lower than observation group(75.68%<94.59%)and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The adverse effects of 2groups rate were 5.41%
the comparative differences were not statiscally significant(P>0.05).Before the treatment there was no significant difference between the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)(P>0.05);after the treatment the LVEF of control group and observation group were(52.57±5.73)% and(57.63±6.14)% respectively and the former is lower
also the LVEF of groups were both higher than before. And the differences were significant(P <0.05).Before the treatment there was no significant difference between the hs-CRP of 2groups(P>0.05);after the treatment the hsCRP control group and observation group were(3.32±0.18)mg/L and(6.15±0.54)mg/L respectively and the former is higher
also the hs-CRP of groups were both lower than before. And the differences were significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Treating OMI with enalapril and candesartan could improve the efficacy and prognosis
