Objective To study level of positive psychological capital and emotional health in undergraduates

and investigate relationship between them.Methods Positive Psychological Questionnaire（PPQ）and emotional health questionnaire of undergraduates were used to survey 526 undergraduates in 3 colleges and University.Results The scores of PPQ and self-efficiency

30.34±4.58 and 29.63±5.92.Students with urban Hukou scored higher than students with rural Hukou on PPQ and tenacity

hope and optimism.Male students scored higher than female students on self-efficiency

while female students scored higher than male students on hope

and the differences were significant（P<0.05）.The total scores of emotional health questionnaire and mood disorder

anxiety

depression

attack and somatization scales were 65.36±19.60

13.23±4.91 and 11.08±3.81.The scores of male students were lower than female students on emotional health questionnaire and mood disorder

anxiety

depression and attack scales.Students who are only child scored lower than nononly students on emotional health questionnaire and depression scale;students with urban Hukou scored lower than students with rural Hukou on mood disorder and somatization

and the differences were significant（P<0.05）.Conclusion The overall level of positive psychological capital and emotional health among undergraduates were relatively high.The level of positive psychological capital and emotional health vary since undergraduates’ demographic characteristics are different

so colleges and universities should conduct psychological health education according to their characteristics.
