A Retrospective Study on the Combination Treatment of Colon Dialysis and Niaoduqing Granule Retention-enema in Elderly Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease
Objective To assess the clinical efficacy and safety on the combination treatment of colon dialysis and Niaoduqing granule retention-enema in elderly patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD).Methods From2010 July to 2015 April
142senile patients with CKD were treated by colon dialysis and Niaoduqing granule retention-enema.Before and after the treatment
serum creatinine(Scr)
blood urea nitrogen(BUN)
Cystatin C(CysC)
estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)
and the clinical efficacy and adverse reaction were observed and statistically analyzed. Results Scr and BUN decreased after treatment with significant differences(P<0.05)
while eGFR increased(P<0.05).The total effective rate was 56.3%.Mild adverse reactions occurred in 5patients(3cases with diarrhea
1case with abdominal distension
1case with anal pain)with 3.5% of adverse reaction ratio. Conclusion The combination treatment of colon dialysis and Niaoduqing granule retention-enema in elderly patients with chronic kidney disease is effective
