The Efficacy of Trimetazidine on Coronary Heart Disease with Left Ventricular Dysfunction
Objective To investigate the efficacy of trimetazidine for the treatment of coronary heart disease with left ventricular dysfunction in patients so as to provide a theoretical basis for clinical medicine.Method50 cases of patients with coronary heart disease and left ventricular dysfunction received from April 2012 to April 2013 in a hospital of Mudanjiang City were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group
25 cases in each. Both groups were given conventional treatment and the observation group were also treated with trimetazidine. After a year
the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)
left ventricular end diastolic volume(LVEDV)and changes in cardiothoracic heart rate and the incidence of myocardial ischemia were compared in the two groups. Results After one year of treatment
the mortality was 4.0%in the observation group
it was 20.0%in the control group and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The indexes of cardiac function in all the patients improved after the treatment in both groups.LVEF increased
cardiothoracic ratio
LVEDV and the incidence of myocardial ischemia decreased and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05)
but all these changes in the observation group were more significant(P<0.05)than the control group. Conclusion The use of trimetazidine combining with other drugs on coronary heart disease with left ventricular dysfunction in patients can significantly improve their cardiac function and reduce pains caused by the disease to the patients. It is worthy of clinical use and promotion.
