Objective To investigate the influence of slow and rapid induction intubations on hemodynamics in elderly patients.Method 64 cases of elderly patients with malignant tumors received in Jinzhou District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2011 to December 2013 were randomly divided into an research group for slow induction intubation and a control group for rapid induction intubation to compare the hemodynamic changes in both groups. Results The heart rate and blood pressure of the patients in the research group had no significant changes before and after the slow induction intubation
while the heart rate and blood pressure had significant changes in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The slow induction intubation evokes mild cardiovascular responses so as to ensure the safety of the perioperative period for elderly cancer patients and it is of great value to improve the prognosis.
