A Study of the Value of Colposcopy in Application to the Clinical Screening of Cervical Diseases
Objective To discuss the value of colposcopy in application to the clinical screening of cervical diseases.Method To conduct a comparative analysis of the results of the biopsy examination of cervical tissues and the results of the electro-colposcopy examination of 400 patients of cervical diseases
and observe the differences of the results of colposcopy examinations of the patients of different ages. Results The examinations by electro-colposcope indicated 7cases of cervical cancer
335 cases of cervicitis
39 cases of CIN I degree
and 19 cases of CIN II and III degree.Scope positioned biopsy sent for pathological examination confirmed 7cervical cancer cases
35 CIN I degree cases
and 18 CIN II and III degree cases against which the electro-colposcopy demonstrated an accuracy rate of 100.0%
89.7%
and 94.7%respectively.Chronic cervicitis claimed a fairly large number of patients of 21 to 30years old
cervical dysplasia saw a large representation in patients from 51 to 60
while all the patients of cervical cancer were above 41.Conclusion Conducting clinical screening of cervical diseases through colposcopy has a high accuracy rate
facilitates an early detection of CIN
and can effectively improve the diagnostic rate in combination with histological examination
thus has an important value to the clinical screening of cervical diseases.
