Objective To discuss the curative effect of applying policresulen to the treatment of cervical erosion of female college students.Method To select 102 cases of female college student patients who have visited the outpatient gynecological department of the hospital of Southwest University of Finance and Economics for the treatment of cervical erosion from September 2010 to September 2013

and adopt for treatment a method of partial cervical application of policresulen solution in combination with vaginal application of policresulen suppository.The patients were treated twice a week

ten times amounting to a course

and the curative effect was observed after two months of treatment.Results The overall effective rate of the 102 patients amounted to93.14%

and the cure rate reached 58.82%.In a statistical comparison of the overall effective rate of patients of cervical erosion at different degrees

the three parts had no marked differences.In a statistical comparison of the cure rate of patients of cervical erosion at different degrees

the lesser was the degree of the erosion

the higher the cure rate was

and there were significant differences among the three parts（P<0.05）.ConclusionTreating cervical erosion with policresulen has a reliable effect

has no complications

and is worth promoting for clinical application.
