Objective To observe the clinical effect of oral lichen planus with the integrative treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Method 40cases of patients with oral lichen planus received in the Department of Stomatology in Dashiqiao Central Hospital from January 2012to January 2013were divided into control group and treatment group with 20cases in each according to their visit sequences.The control group was injected with BCGpolysaccharide nucleic acid（PCG-PSN）.The treatment group was treated with PCG-PSN and traditional Chinese medicine.Results Before the treatment

there was no statistical difference（t=0.151

P>0.05）in the pain scores of the two groups.After different treatments

the difference of the pain scores in the two groups was statistically significant（t=9.631

P<0.05）;the total efficiency of the treatment group was 95.0%

better than that of the control group with 85.0%.The difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）.Conclusion The integrative treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine on oral lichen planus can relieve patients’pain and improve the clinical effect.It is worth of clinical application and popularization.
