Objectives To observe the synergistic effect of Astragalus and Sanguis Draxonis（a Chinese traditional herb）on anti-thrombus

burns and scalds in rats.Method Astragalus and Sanguis Draxonis were used to investigate thrombus and treat deepⅡ degree steam burns of rats

and the results were evaluated and analyzed whether they had synergistic effects.Results Astragalus

Sanguis Draxonis and compound preparation of Astragalus-Sanguis Draxonis had significant effects on anti-thrombus（P<0.05）

but in the anti-thrombotic experiment

compound preparation of Astragalus-Sanguis Draxonis had a more significant effect on shortening the length of thrombus

reducing wet weight and dry weight of thrombus（P<0.05）.Astragalus

Sanguis Draxonis and compound preparation of Astragalus-Sanguis Draxonis all promoted the healing of burns（P<0.05） and compound preparation of Astragalus-Sanguis Draxonis had a better effect on healing in the early six to eleven days（P<0.05）.Conclusion Compound preparation of Astragalus-Sanguis Draxonis has a significant synergistic effect on anti-thrombus and promotion of healing burns in the early stage.
