There are more and more students repeating the last year of high school who suffer more stress than common current year’s high school graduates

and are prone to have psychological problems more easily

however

few attention were given to them.The paper had a literature review on the psychological status

influencing factors and internal and external causes of psychological problems.It also found that the major factors influencing those students’ psychological health were academic pressure resulted from failing the college entrance examination

poor interpersonal relationship

inadequate social support and poor health adaptation.External causes were mainly negative public opinion after failing the exam

poor communication between teacher and parents

and lack of systematic psychological health education in most high schools.Psychology of students repeating the last year of high school underwent constant changes in different review phases with unique cause attached to each phase.Proper countermeasures should be brought out for solving these students’ psychological problems

parents

teachers and students should work together.Psychological health education should be carried out aiming to help those students recover healthy and good psychological status to face the review and college entrance examination.
