Objective To have knowledge about the current situation of autonomous learning in medical students so as to provide reference and basis for guiding the autonomous learning.Method The current situation of 1 305 medical students was investigated with college students’ autonomous learning questionnaire.Results 72.1% of the medical students were fond of their majors;7.7% of the students regularly skipped classes while 72.6% of the students skipped classes occasionally;43.3% of the medical students thought that academic records could not reflect their capabilities;when the exam results were unsatisfactory
