Objective To probe into the status of self consistency and congruence and learning adaptability of university students majoring in computer and their relationships.Method 287 university students majoring in computer were investigated and analyzed with self consistency and congruence scale and university student learning adaptability scale.Results High scores in the self consistency and congruence group accounted for 70.4%;each factor of self consistency and congruence are mostly related with each factor of learning adaptability;the disharmony on self and experience and self flexibility entered the regression equation of learning adaptability.Conclusion The general status of self consistency and congruence of university students majoring in computer is poor.Their self consistency and congruence has a close relationship with the learning adaptability

and the self consistency and congruence is a predictor of their learning adaptability.
