Reproductive center of affiliated hospital of Zunyi Medical College conducted treatment for promoting pregnancy for a 38-year-old patient with idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism（IHH）.First

the patient underwent six artificial menstrual cycles to make her uterus meet requirements for pregnancy.Then

a six-cycle ovulation induction treatment + artificial insemination with husband’s sperm was given but the patient fail to become pregnant.Next

a two-cycle ovulation induction treatment using HMG 150 u/d + in vitro fertilization embryo transfer（IVF-ET） for promoting pregnancy was given and the patient was still not pregnant.Finally

an ovulation induction treatment using HMG 300 u/d + IVF-ET was given and the patient became pregnant

and she gave birth to a baby boy by a cesarean section.
