Objective To explore the effect of personality on subjective sense of happiness of college students.Method 247 college students from Jinggangshan University were investigated with General Sense of happiness Scale and Eysenck Personality Scale.Results Differences in subjective sense of happiness college students’ majors were statistically significant;the subjective sense of happiness of national defense students was higher than that of those who are not national defense students;the national defense students had lower scores of neuroticism than those who are not;for the personality of college students

the differences in neuroticism according to gender were statistically significant;the subjective sense of happiness and personality of college students were closely related.Conclusion The students with lighter financial burden and lower employment pressure have strong subjective sense of happiness

and personality is predictive for the subjective sense of happiness.
