Objective To investigate the confirmed cases and suspected ones of A/H1N1 flu in Chongqing University

so to explore effective prevention measures against A H1N1 flu.Method The epidemiological investigation was done on the confirmed cases and suspected cases diagrosed from 20th September to 20th November in 2009.Results 4 566 influenza-like cases were reported in 2 months

with the incidence of 16.30%.27 colleges and 533 classes were involved.The cases increased form October until 10th November

with a peak on 30th October.Boys’incidence

18.16%

was higher than girls

13.18%.The difference is statistically significant（P<0.01）

The main symptoms included fever

angina

cough

snuffle

nasal discharge

headache

fatigue.No death cases were reported.Conclusion To prevent and control epidemic like influenza in university is a hard task

and still has a long way to go.Above all

while sound manage system of public health is further established

health education among students must be undertaken at the same time.
