child rearing and contraception. Results Abortion accounted for 28.2 percent of married women
unmarried accounted for 71.8%;middle school education to the majority(32.0%);career staff in the most(34.6%);accounted for 69.5 percent of local household registration;rural women accounted for 26.4%
outside the county accounted for 4.1%;this flow is not accounted for 84.9% of maternal;the flow for the first time accounted for 58.9%;pregnancy reasons for not using contraception
mostly(63.4%)
contraceptive failure was 36.6%;men concerned about contraception accounted for 46.0%;men take the initiative to take contraceptive measures for condoms
accounting for 34.0%;male contraceptive measures recommended the woman not accounted for 47.6%.Conclusions Premarital pregnancy and low rate of contraception are the main reasons for high induced abortion rate.It is suggested that more attention should be paid to higher failure rate of contraception and men’s playing poor role in the contraception. The target of family planning work should be expanded to the entire child-bearing age women and men.
