Objective Three kinds of anesthesia methods in breast cancer sargery were compared to select the appropriate method of anesthesia. Method Three different methods of anesthesia
anesthesia options
complications of anesthesia and anesthesia attentins from 800 cases of breast cancer patients were analyzed and summarized. Results In EPA
226 cases(98.15%) were punctured successfully
208 cases(90.04%) with satisfied blocking
4 cases with mild complications. In VICA
the success rate of tracheal intubation was 100% and 95 cases(20.43%) had remarkable cardiovascular response to endotracheal intubation. In TIA
94 cases(90.38%) had remarkable cardiovascular response and 62 cases (59.62%) required airway placement in throat or chin lift to keep respiratory tract fluent due to wallowing tongue. Conclusion EPA and VICA should be selected for anesthesia of breast cancer surgery while TIA was best avoided.
