Objective To discuss the change of the female college students’ love idea in different period

and analyse the effects of educational intervention.Method Data were collected by questionnaire.One investigation was carried out in 1997

and another two investigations were completed respectively before and after sexual education in 2004.Results The rate of love in female college students was gone up from 34.4% in 1997 to 56.7% in 2004

But the age of first love dropt evidently from（18.9±1.9） in 1997 to（17.1±2.2） in 2004（p<0.01）.Their attitude towards love

lovelorn and lover was more tolerant

and their intimacy in love were becoming in more indiscreet.The rate who thought people can daut hypersensitive and privy parts of body and sexual intercourse during love raised distinctly from 2.0% in 1997 to 21.0% in 2004（p<0.01）.After sexual education

the female students’ attitude towards love was improved in a certain extent

their intimacy became markedly conservative and self-respecting（p<0.01）.Conclusion The rate of love is increasing

the age of first love is bringing forward

and the intimacy is more and more imprudent during love among the female college students.Sexual education offered a positive effect to improved students’ love idea.Omnidirectional education should be carried out in family

school and society.
