Objective To know the information of the freshmen carrying HBV

to strengthen tracing and observing

to prevent and inoculate the non-infective.Method To phlebotomize limosisly and take test of enzyme and immunity.Results 1 061 freshmen have been tested carrying HBV among 16 434 over the 11 years（6.46 %）;HBsAg positive rate of 7.50 % for boys and 4.27 % for girls.and the difference was statistically significant（χ2=61.42

p<0.01）;the average electropositive of anti-HBs is 25.01 %.Conclusion The HBsAg positive rate of freshmen in our college is lower than the national average.The ratio of male carrying HBV is higher than that of female;two semi-hepatitis B testing is necessary for the University freshmen

the students not infected with HBV vaccination need correct hepatitis B vaccine.
